Luke Thayer started his comedy career in 1994 at the University of Washington. It was also about this time that he started talking about himself in the third person. He won the 1995 UW stand-up comedy competition and, for a time, thought of himself as a ‘fancy lad’. His sketch group, “The Habit” received critical acclaim from the Seattle press and eventually toured New York, Chicago, San Francisco, and even Saskatoon. Honestly. Since arriving in LA, Luke has been seen in “Sometimes it’s Good to be Loud”, and “Billy Ocean’s Eleven.”
Luke likes anything chocolate, Subway sandwiches, and beating other improvisers at basketball.
