The Cast of Cup of Tea in Welcome to Plainville

We're so proud to announce that our pilot Welcome to Plainville has won Best Alternative Pilot at the 3rd Annual Independent TV Festival (iTVFest).

This year's Independent Television Festival featured three dozen independently produced pilots in a variety of categories including Comedy, Drama, Documentary, and Webseries. Welcome to Plainville beat out five other pilots to win the top prize in the Alternative Category. Cast members Anne Gregory and Jason Frederick were on hand to accept the honor at the swanky awards ceremony at The Boulevard Lounge in West Hollywood.

Welcome to Plainville is a all-new sketch comedy show that centers around the strange characters living in the isolated small town of Plainville, USA. Founded in 1887 by a band of isolationist pioneers who were later killed and eaten by a band of bigger, stronger pioneers in 1889, modern-day Plainville plays host to these settler's descendants -- their peculiar, off-kilter descendants.

Featuring guest appearances by David Koechner (Anchorman,The Office, Get Smart), Matt Walsh (Upright Citizens Brigade, Old School, Semi-Pro), Dave Holmes (Reno 911!, MTV), and Chris Tallman (Reno 911!, The Sarah Silverman Program), Welcome to Plainville opens the door to this hilarious town of unique characters.
